A comprehensive refurbishment and modernisation of a character 1930s family home, carefully designed to retain its original architectural features while significantly improving the layout, comfort and performance of the property.

Works included new oak flooring, rewiring and plumbing, upgraded insulation, new windows and doors, French polishing and restoration of the original oak panelling, a new fireplace and complete redecoration.

The kitchen and surrounding spaces were reconfigured to create a more open kitchen and living environment, with underfloor heating, air conditioning and improved access between rooms. The dining room was remodelled through the removal of the chimney breast, widening of the kitchen entrance and installation of a pocket door, alongside bespoke refurbished cabinetry and shelving.

Upstairs, the staircase and existing layout were redesigned to create a new master bedroom and ensuite, additional bathrooms, improved bedrooms and extensive integrated storage.

The upper floor was transformed into a comfortable living space with a Velux rooflight, bespoke glazing, air conditioning and built-in storage. Further works included refurbishment of the garage, creation of a dedicated plant room and improvements to the studio above the garage.
